I have been collecting ancient coins for approximately 10 years. I started trying to collect one piece from each Emperor like most novice collectors. Quickly my interest was drawn to the ae4 size late Empire coinage, in particular the monogram coins, including those of the Vandals and Ostrogoths, along with the Early Byzantine period.
